Verification of Eligibility to Participate in Advertizing Venues

To be eligible for promotion by MACAP and Travel Manitoba, Campgrounds must meet ALL of these criteria.

Verification of Eligibility

This Campground has liability insurance that is sufficient for what it does and it agrees to provide proof of insurance to MACAP if requested to do so.

This Campground has all the licences and permits it needs for the type and location of its operation. If you do not require any licences or permits to operate, you should still check this box.

This Campground has at least one form of communication (phone, fax, e-mail, or website, etc.) available during its season(s) of operation sufficient to respond to inquiries in a reasonable period of time.

This Campground ensures its promotions and advertisements accurately represent the service being offered.

This Campground understands that failure to be in good standing with MACAP’s and Travel Manitoba’s complaint policy (i.e. three unresolved complaints in a 24-month period) could result in a suspension of promotion privileges through both MACAP and Travel Manitoba.

To be eligible to be promoted to tour operators, wholesalers or travel agents by MACAP or Travel Manitoba, Campgrounds must meet both of the following criteria in addition to the ones above.
(If you are not interested in promotion to tour operators, wholesalers or travel agents you can ignore these last two criteria.)

Eligible to be promoted

This Campground ensures it will acknowledge inquiries and bookings within 24 business hours (determined by our stated business hours); and

This Campground ensures it will offer pricing which includes a commission paid to a tour operator, wholesaler or travel agent that sells our product on our behalf, and will try to establish the pricing at least 6 months in advance of the anticipated delivery dates, and will honour the agreed upon price once the tour operator, wholesaler or travel agent has published it.
